StarHealth complies with all DHHS guidelines around COVID-19, infection control and hygiene. We screen all staff, clients & visitors for COVID-19 daily and ensure surfaces are cleaned regularly to keep you safe. Everyone is required to wear a mask while onsite, if you do not have a mask we can provide you one for free.
Important update regarding the AstraZeneca Vaccine
The Australian Government has lifted the pause on the administration of AstraZeneca to eligible people under the age of 50 years who choose to receive this vaccine. If you are eligible and under the age of 50 and wish to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine you will be required to do the following:
- Provide consent to be vaccinated online when registering for your vaccine
- Undertake a risk / benefit conversation with a GP or nurse at our vaccination clinic

What if I am worried about the side-effects?
If you have recently received your first vaccine dose and are concerned about side-effects you should consult your doctor. .

When will I be eligible to receive a Vaccination?
Phase 2a) of the vaccine rollout has commenced. Everyone over the age of 50 is now eligible to receive a vaccine.

There are two simple steps to booking a vaccination appointment
What do I need to bring to my vaccination appointment?
To demonstrate your eligibility, it’s important you bring one of the following with you:
- Drivers License or other type of photo ID
- Medicare Card
Location: The Prahran Town Hall (the former Prahran Library – Greville Street entrance) .
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Closed daily from 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Please be aware that appointment slots become available as delivery of the vaccine to our clinic is confirmed.

The COVID-19 vaccine is voluntary and free for everyone.
If you choose not to have a COVID-19 vaccine your eligibility for Government payments won’t be affected.

Symptomatic COVID-19 testing
StarHealth is operating a free COVID-19 Screening Clinic at the Prahran Town Hall for anyone experiencing symptoms
Address: 255a Chapel St, Prahran.
Hours: 9am – 5pm, 7 days.
Closed daily between 12pm – 1pm for cleaning.
If you require assistance when visiting the clinic, or when waiting in line, please approach a staff member or security and they will be pleased to assist you. You can also register by calling us on 9525 1300 during business hours
Asymptomatic COVID-19 testing
StarHealth is providing private asymptomatic COVID-19 testing suitable for travel, return to work & peace of mind.

Hours: 8:15am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday
