Special Responsibilities: Treasurer, Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, Member of the Executive Performance & Development Committee
Qualifications and experience: Bachelor of Commerce (University of Capetown), Chartered Accountant (South Africa). Nick is now retired, but was previously the General Manager at Repco Cycles Company and Chief Financial Officer with the Walt Disney Company (Australia).
Other local involvement: Nick has been the Treasurer at Port Melbourne Neighbour Centre (PMNC) since 2000. The PMNC has values around social inclusion and community capacity, which fit in perfectly with those of Star Health. Nick believes strongly in these values and sees his involvement with Star Health as a means of contributing to the development of strong social values in the community.
